Top Three Winners Selected from Countless Submissions from Across the Globe
MIDLOTHIAN, VA - November 10, 2008 - SouthPeak Games, in coordination with developers Gaijin Entertainment and TopWare Interactive, announced today that three winners have been selected in the X-Blades fanart contest. Konrad Beiskammer has been awarded first place, Toshinori Kihara second place and Jasmine Kong third place. Each winner will receive $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000, respectively. Entries were submitted from fans all over the world and featured all types of styles and poses for the beautiful Ayumi.
The contest called for fans to design artistic costumes for Ayumi, the heroine of the anime-styled action game. The contest judges received stacks of brilliant artistic interpretations from North America, Japan and all across Europe. In addition to the top three winners, there were numerous other prizes as well, and money and other great gifts have been awarded to the runners-up. X-Blades is a fast-paced action adventure game, featuring a blend of cinematic style and beautiful anime-inspired characters, combat and environments.
