PS3 Firmware Update 4.20 Releasing Tomorrow


June 25, 2012 - It's that time again... Time for all us PlayStation faithful to update our consoles to the latest software; which will bring about new tweaks and enhancements to the overall functionality of the console.

Firmware 4.20 will allow owners of the Wireless Stereo Headset for the PlayStation 3, the ability to adjust the ability to hear ones own voiced echoed through the headset. A feature that was introduced in firmware update 4.10, 4.20 will allow you to either turn off the functionality completely or simply adjust the intensity via five different levels. You will also gain the ability to use virtual surround sound via the headset when watching Blu-ray or movies.

Not stopping there, other enhancements included within the update include the flexibility to set how low before your system will auto shut down, and the ability to delete multiple save game files at one time.
