Sega Releasing Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Edition In Japan
The whole Yakuza family are together once again... and on one console too...


July 19, 2012 - Yakuza 1 and 2 where some of the greatest RPG experience to have been released on the PlayStation 2 console. They brought a side of life over in Japan that hasn't been seen in interactive media before, which made them instant hits with gamers the world over.

With us six years into the PlayStation 3 life-cycle and three titles already released for the console, Sega is looking back to the original two titles that started it all in order to give gamers a chance to experience the first two titles they might have never played.

As it stands, the game is set for release over in Japan on November 1st. At this time, no official announcement has been made as to whether the game would come West (Europe and North America) or if this will be a release solely for Japan. However, considering every single Yakuza title has been localized; outside of Yakuza 2, it's almost a safe bet we will see its release. It's all just a matter of time.
